In late January 2011, the Catholic Diocese of Sacramento will be hosting a huge, dynamic, and exciting conference for all those youth who are preparing to receive the awesome Sacrament of Confirmation!

Jacob and Matthew is a Catholic five-piece from Southern California that brings their unique cutting edge style as an alternative to modern rock. With a strong foundation in Jesus’ gospel message of love, the music and lyrics inspire self-reflection. A tremendous draw amongst Catholic youth, their sound inspires a new direction in faith-based music.

In addition to Jacob and Matthew, this year’s Confirmation Conference will feature music by Popple.

Our Master of Ceremonies for the Confirmation Conference will be Armando Cervantes.

Armando graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Public and Community Servicein the year 2004 and just graduated this past summer with an M.A. in Pastoral Theology from Loyola Marymount.  Currently he is the Director of the Youth & Young Adults for the Diocese of Orange advocating and empowering with, by and for Youth and Young Adults in various
